Bio

Corey graduated from the NYU Interactive Telecommunications Program in May 2009. His studies encompassed Physical Computing, Wearable Technology, Computational Media, Social Software, and Mobile Apps & Location-based Services. Prior to ITP, Corey worked in the Internet industry since 1995. He started as a co-founder of a successful web startup, worked as an interface engineer and designer at Organic, Inc., and developed a number of web applications for the American Stock Exchange, New York Stock Exchange, Nasdaq, Euronext, and other major equities markets around the world for TCB Data Systems, Inc.

GeoGenius Geogeni.us is an ongoing scavenger hunt for the iPhone that interprets players latitude and longitude position as the answer to clues created by other players.
Infinity Mirrored Room - LEDs Forever "Infinity Mirrored Room - LEDs Forever" is a re-imagining of Yayoi Kusama's 1966 piece Infinity Mirrored Room - Love Forever. It brings it into the 21st-century through the use of RGB LEDs and interactivity to allow viewers to perceive an infinite virtual space in a breathtaking way.
Project Database SMS Tagging This service allows ITP Gallery visitors to "tag" projects and have information about them via SMS and email.
The Honeycomb The Honeycomb is a suite of telepresence devices that enable physically separated spouses to connect with one another by transmitting fragments of sensory experiences of archetypal parenting activities from various stages of babyhood.
The Kickbee The Kickbee is a wearable device that senses when a fetus kicks inside the womb, and communicates the event to the outside world.
The Naked Pixel The Naked Pixel challenges our notions of decency in public arenas by manifesting each pixel of a naked photograph sequentially, and further "undresses" each pixel when the lights go out.
The Peggy Lite-Brite The Peggy Lite-Brite converts a static LED-sign kit into a dynamic and fun "Lite-Brite". Users can create their own low-res graphics by inserting LED's into any of the 625 female headers on the board.
