ITP101 FAQ
Here's a basic FAQ for ITP. Much of it is copied from Corey Menscher's ITP 101 DriveBy in Fall 2009 - thanks, Corey.

What are DriveBy's?
- DriveBy's are peer-to-peer teaching at ITP. They are run by students, and can be on virtually any topic. DriveBy's can be lectures, demos, discussions, or even performances. If you want to host a DriveBy, add your session to the DriveBy Signup.
What are TNO's?
- Thursday Night Out (TNO) is ITP's weekly social event. Students gather at a bar and have some drinks. Each week is hosted by a student (or group of students), and a creative invitation is usually made for it.

What's The List?
- It's the student mailing list.
- It's the heart of the student community
- If you don't want a ton of email, use the Google Group.
- Gmail filtering: Create a filter that applies a label to all mail originating from the list AND makes all mail originating from the list skip the inbox. Create another inbox using Google Labs' Multiple Inbox feature. Specify one inbox for your ITP label. Mail should now only go into that inbox, and not your main inbox.
