ITP Movie Night, "Friday Night In"
Introduction
What do you do when it's Friday night and you have a great DVD that you want to see with your friends, but you don't have a TV or a proper living room...or your roommate is crazy? You host a Friday Movie Night!! Movie Night In means you can watch a movie with your friends and get your homework done.
Hosting is open to all students. Just pick a film. Reserve a room. And sign up.
Housekeeping
Hosts
If you plan on hosting, it also means that you will provide a decent copy of the movie yourself. Soliciting movies from your fellow students is thoroughly encouraged. Hosting also means you will be attending movie night. Don't sign up if you can't be there. Also, you might want to select movies that you wouldn't mind watching alone in a classroom by yourself. Ehh...it happens.
To reserve a room, you MUST go to the ITP Room Schedule first to request your room. Check to see which room has not been booked. You do not have the room unless Matt has sent you a confirmation email. If you include the name of your movie in the email, he'll put in the schedule for you. Typically, the room with the Friday speaker is a good room to use, if only because the chairs will have been set up in rows for that event.
Lastly, an email announcement needs to hit the List. (Allison can help with this if you'd like, but you too can send out an email all by yourself!)
Attendees
Feel free to bring your laptop and work, just please be courteous of the other people trying to watching the film - not the time to work on your Pd assignment! And, leave the room to talk on the phone.
Snacks
Yes, there's a small budget for snacks!!! Megan and Gordie know where the snacks are, so talk to them before the day ends if you want snacks. There's also probably tons of popcorn.

Please help the ER staff put the room back together. Throw away your trash and help stack chairs if needed. Thanks! :)
