  • The Magician (118 Rivington St between Essex St & Norfolk St)
    • Drinks: $2.50 well drinks, $3.50 draft beers
    • Other: Free Asian bar snacks!
  • Boxcar Lounge (168 Ave B between 10th & 11th St)
    • Drinks: 2-for-1 on everything except top shelf liquor and select cocktails

    • Notable: Happy hour until 10pm!!
  • Grassroots Tavern (20 St. Marks Pl between 3rd Ave & Astor Pl)

    • Notable: They are famous for their bacon martinis and "ass juice".
  • Nurse Bettie (106 Norfolk St between Delancey St & Rivington St)

    • Other: Happy hour until 10pm and free burlesque shows on Wednesday and Thursday nights! Free pizza on Mondays and Tuesdays!
  • Otto's Shrunken Head (538 E 14th St between Avenue A & Avenue B)
    • Drinks: 2-for-1 Buds and well drinks, $3 PBR pints, $5 boilermakers, $1 off everything else
    • Other: DJs at 10pm, sometimes live music around 8/9pm
    • Notable: Crazy Tiki drinks in shrunken head mugs!
  • Beauty Bar (231 E 14th St between 2nd & 3rd Ave)
    • Drinks: $4 well drinks, $3 Blue Moons
    • Notable: $10 for a manicure and martini (or another drink)
    • Other: DJs at 10pm

  • Pinetree Lodge (Murray Hill, 326 E 35th St between Tunnel Entrance St & 1st Ave)
    • Drinks: 2-for-1 beer and well drinks
    • Other: Antlers! Christmas lights! Funky outdoor seating!
  • 123 Burger Shot Beer (Hell's Kitchen, 738 10th Ave between 50th & 51st St)
    • Drinks: $2 shots and $3 beers always, reduced price mix drinks and $4 wine and $3 specialty beers until 8pm
    • Food: $1 burger sliders always, one order of wings and an order of fries for $6.95 after 8pm

These still have good happy hour specials until 8pm, but we've gone to them for TNO this year, so we may or may not want to consider them. (I mean, summer's good for branching out a bit, right?)

  • Hi-Fi (169 Ave A between 10th & 11th St)

  • Arrow Bar (85 Ave A between 5th & 6th St)
    • Drinks: 2-for-1 everything except specialty beers and whiskey, $6 Bud light + shot
    • Other: Photo booth and buck hunter! DJs every 1st & 3rd Thursday!
  • 2A (25 Ave A between 2nd & 3rd St)
    • Drinks: 2-for-1 beers and well drinks
    • Food: Free popcorn!
    • Other: Fantastic view!
  • The Library (7 Ave A between 1st & 2nd St)

  • Botanica (47 E Houston St between Mulberry St & Greene St)
